Mentor with us
Our mentors are special people. They give so much, but we know that they genuinely feel privileged to make an impact in a child’s life.
Like Geoff in Victoria who shares, “I will never forget saying goodbye to Alex and watching him stride away with a few mates, turning round and shouting, ‘Thanks mate!’
“I love being a mentor. It’s so rewarding. What a privilege it is to encourage these kids who often don’t have anyone giving them one-to-one attention.”

The mentor has worked wonders on my student, and he has now developed a strong positive attitude … His behaviour, both at home and within the classroom, has greatly improved… He is now a changed little boy!

What does it take to be a mentor?
- Top of the list is very simple – you want to make a difference in a child’s life.
- You want to support and encourage a child in their social and emotional development.
- You’re happy to commit to a weekly one hour session at the child’s school for at least one year.
- You will comply with our child protection process including mentor training and reading operational emails.
- You’ll encourage a strong partnership between your local church and primary school.
That’s it! It’s pretty simple but VERY rewarding.
