In February 2025, Kids Hope launched Kids Hope Pillars, a new initiative inspired by the well-known African proverb: “It takes a village to raise a child.” At Kids Hope, we believe the same applies to supporting children facing vulnerability.
The Kids Hope Village is made up of thousands of people across Australia, united by a shared mission—to bring hope to children through one-to-one mentoring. At the heart of this village are our Kids Hope Pillars, whose generous financial support strengthens and sustains our work. Their contributions enable us to:
- Connect with more schools
- Engage more churches
- Release more mentors
- Ultimately supporting more vulnerable children
A Kids Hope Pillar can be an individual, business, charitable trust or small group of friends, committed to donating $1,000 per month on an ongoing basis, providing the critical financial foundation for this work.
We are seeking 100 committed individuals or organisations across Australia to become Pillars—people who share our vision, understand the importance of sustainability and are ready to make a lasting impact.
