The Coordinator of a KIDS HOPE AUS program in NSW has received a PRIDE of WORKMANSHIP award from the local Rotary Club. Brian Lammas from Concord Baptist Church, was nominated by the assistant principal of their partner school at Strathfield North PS, and was honoured to receive the recognition. Brian wrote to us saying, “This was a great opportunity to promote the KIDS HOPE AUS Program as the citation, which was written by Judy Evans and read out by the Rotary secretary as I received the award, clearly enunciated what KIDS HOPE is all about.”
The Rotary Club citation reads…..written by the nominating principal.
For the past 12 years, Brian has been a dedicated advocate for KIDS HOPE AUS through its strong partnership with the Concord Baptist Church.
Brian has been intrumental in achieving their goal of “Building caring relationships….one child, one hour, one church, one school” through his ongoing organisation of volunteers, coordinating activities and liaising with teachers to ensure a successful mentoring program for the students at Strathfield North Public School.
Brian’s tireless effors and true commitment to the Kids Hope mentoring program has made a tremendous difference to many of our students and he is to be thanked and congratulated on behalf of the Strathfield North Public School Community
Congratulations to Brian and the Concord Baptist Church volunteer mentors on behalf of the whole KIDS HOPE AUS community. Community partnerships and engagement with our local schools is the heartbeat of what we do, and is so well received by our partner schools and the wider community!
