School Information
Kids Hope has been impacting the lives of children in Australian primary schools since 2004. We are the largest early intervention mentoring program in the country.
Our model is simple – one child, one mentor, one hour a week. The results are remarkable – emotional and social development needs are met and learning capacity enhanced.
The evidence-based and high-impact model is easy to deliver, and best of all, free to all primary schools.

Empowering Aussie kids
One-to-one mentoring develops children’s emotional and social resilience and increases their capacity to learn and thrive.
Trained Volunteers
Our volunteers are provided through a local church and professionally trained to adhere to each state’s Department of Education guidelines. This includes a strict no-proselytizing policy.
Child Safety
Child Safety is paramount in our program. All volunteers are trained to uphold the rigors of child protection and are required to comply with our Child Protection policy and procedures.
Quality Assurance
As a ‘Quality Assured Program’ with the Australian Youth Mentoring Network, our program meets or exceeds all national mentoring benchmarks.
Evidence-based
According to Griffith and Monash Universities, our wellbeing program has a proven track record of transformation.
